Teacher of the Deaf
Early intervention specialist for deaf and hard of hearing children. We will help you to understand the concepts and principles of language for young deaf children. To support their learning journey by exploring social-emotional skills, independent skills, and language development through play. Parents and extended family members can observe, model, and apply a deaf educator's use of Auslan and cultural awareness with their deaf child.

Teacher of the Deaf sessions can be held anywhere, at the park, museum, or home. These sessions are flexible and tailored to fit your and your child's needs.
Auslan For Families
Auslan for families is aimed at families who have family members who are deaf and use Auslan to communicate. Extended family members are welcome to join.
We focus on supporting families to build a deaf-friendly home environment, learning about cultural awareness and being inclusive in everyday activities.
We will consult with you to build a program tailored to your Auslan needs. These sessions can be held in the privacy of your home or at a venue that suits you.
Support For Schools
Support for Schools: The Auslan Factory offers a range of services aimed at enhancing teachers' understanding and proficiency in Auslan, helping them better foster a more inclusive learning environment.
Our Teacher package is specifically designed for educators who teach Auslan in their classrooms, whether starting from scratch or looking to build on existing knowledge. This program provides teachers with the practical language skills and tools they need to create more inclusive classroom dynamics.
We offer in-person professional learning sessions and school visits (ONLY AVAILABLE FRIDAYS) tailored to the specific needs of schools. These sessions focus on building Auslan proficiency and providing teachers with practical strategies for using Auslan in the classroom. During school visits, our expert instructor provides hands-on guidance and immersive experiences, allowing teachers to practice and refine their skills while receiving personalized feedback to boost their confidence and effectiveness.
Through these services, The Auslan Factory aims to empower teachers with the skills and knowledge to create an inclusive, supportive learning environment for all students, including those who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
